Tyco Electronics has launched its M/A-COM MAAPSS0111 amplifier designed for Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) applications. Rated at 1.25W, the four-stage M/A-COM MAAPSS0111 power amplifier operates within the 13.75GHz to 14.5GHz and has can be used as driver or output stage amplifier.
The device is designed to generate 31dBm of saturated output power while drawing 530mA of current. Housed in RoHS-compliant 6mm 28-lead PQFN package, the amplifier has typical power gain of 32dB with operating voltage of 8V.
