Dantel Inc. has launched WebMon Matrix¡Xa highly versatile and scalable monitoring and control solution designed for monitoring critical equipment in cellular and WiMAX tower sites.

"In today's highly competitive telecommunications world, service providers can ill afford customer churn stemming from site outages or the loss of critical network equipment due to lack of effective remote monitoring," stated Dave Lauger, Director of Business Development for Dantel. "We are finding that our modular WebMon Matrix is the perfect fit for monitoring critical equipment and environmental conditions at tower sites."

The WebMon Matrix is a highly versatile and scalable monitoring and control solution capable of making its own intelligent decisions to operate back up equipment and to notify network personnel when adverse environmental conditions may affect the site integrity.

The WebMon Matrix proactively and continuously monitors network equipment through discrete dry/wet contact closures, analog sensors and serial ports. Equipment failures and out of parameter environmental conditions are reported via email, cellular messaging, paging and SNMP messaging (traps). Communication options include 10/100 Base Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485, Dial In, Dial Out and cellular modem.

"Like all of our remotes, the WebMon Matrix is built with industrial grade hardened components and has an operating temperature range of -40¢XC to 85¢XC," said Lauger.
