WiMAX is a standards-based technology enabling the delivery of last mile wireless
broadband access as an alternative to cable and DSL. WiMAX will provide fixed, nomadic, portable and, eventually, mobile wireless broadband connectivity without the need for direct line-of-sight with a base station. New technologies are needed to reach these areas that are too remote, too difficult and too expensive to reach with traditional wired infrastructures.
TDI's RPS is fit for WiMAX as it offers "pay as you grow" scalability. Its modular design enables you to add to the system as your needs warrant. The RPS will also reduce maintenance costs, as the highly reliable Environmentally Sealed Rectifiers and Electronics ensure fewer site visits. Additionally, TDI offers flexible mounting options including pole, wall or tower.
