TriAccess Technologies has announced Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit family to meet the demands of GPON and GEPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) ONU/ONT video deployments. The TAT6252 and TAT6254 round out a family of PON-optimized RFICs are with strengths. The TAT6252 is optimized for low power consumption (700mW), for system designers focusing on power draw, heat, and size, while the TAT6254 provides the flexibility to support a range of requirements, including DBS frequencies up to 2150 MHz. these products are scheduled to ship in pre-production volumes during the second quarter.
