Imperx has unveiled Camera Link interface to the world of mobile imaging. The Framelink PCMCIA frame grabber slips into the PCMCIA slots found in most laptop computers, palmtop computers, PDAs and a host of other high-mobility computing devices. By employing the industry standard Camera Link interface, Framelink puts high-performance image acquisition anywhere you need it. It provides the functionality, performance and versatility required by demanding vision systems. The card features plug-n-play operation with hot insertion/removal and includes an intelligent scatter/gather DMA engine with a generous supply of on-board memory. A full software suite, including drivers and applications, is provided. Optional software development kit (SDK) is available.
