(²£«~·s»D, 2006¦~1¤ë27¤é)

NavSync has announced two models within the CW25 series of GPS receivers. The CW25 series are complete GPS receiver modules in small surface mount format (25mm x 27mm x 4mm), with an embeddable architecture that requires minimal external components, allowing integration into host systems.

The CW25 series has been designed with high sensitivity for use in weak GPS signal environments and is 5m in normal signal strength conditions. This GPS family of receivers is for applications that require indoor tracking, severe urban canyons, navigation, vehicle, asset and personnel tracking, security and surveying. The base model in the series, CW25-NAV can track satellites down to signal levels as low as -157dBm and can acquire GPS lock at signals as low as -143dBm. This level of performance allows the CW25-NAV to maintain positional fixes in extremely weak GPS signal areas such as beneath thick foliage, dense urban canyons, and even inside buildings.

Model CW25-ULS GPS receiver module has the same features as the CW25-NAV but with the additional ability to utilize network assist data to quickly lock in on satellites under low signal levels (down to signal levels as low as -155dBm.) The network assist feature requires that the ephemeris data be uploaded from a central basestation located in the region. NavSync also produces the CW55 GPS basestation unit designed to provide the network assist data via the GPRS network to all CW25-ULS units located in the region.
