M/A-COM has announced a RoHS Compliant DECT Power Amplifier for applications that require dual power modes, high gain and small size at a low cost. The MAAPSS0076, with its wide voltage operating range, is a dual mode power amplifier that maximizes system performance while reducing DC Power consumption.
The MAAPSS0076 is a three stage power amplifier designed for Digitally Enhanced Cordless Telephone (DECT) applications and is available in a lead-free 3mm 12-lead PQFN plastic package. The power amplifier features an integrated power enable pin for accurate ramp control and a separate power mode pin for current savings in a low power mode state. A voltage compensation circuit is also included for applications where the amplifier supply voltage is unregulated and is directly connected to the battery.
