Sirenza Microdevices' SXB-2089Z amplifier, the latest addition to a new family of high-performance broadband amplifiers for use as drivers for wireless infrastructure, ISM, and wireless access applications, operates from 5 to 2500 MHz and features an output IP3 of +43dBm at 1960MHz, gain of 17dB and a noise figure of 4.3dB. The amplifier utilizes Sirenza's patented approach to thermal distribution for lower junction temperatures and increased reliability. The IC boasts an ESD rating of Class 2 (2KV HBM) and is rated for MSL-1 for very robust, rugged and reliable performance.
"This new amplifier operates from 5 to 2500 MHz and can be used in multiple design applications, allowing designers to replace a number of components with this single component," stated John Pelose, vice president and general manager for Sirenza's amplifier division. "The chip design is optimized for low-cost manufacturing with a market price point that is very competitive and attractive to system designers."
The SXB-2089Z is available for immediate shipment in both RoHS-compliant, lead-free and older generation, non-RoHS packages and is priced significantly lower than many competitive products.
